New Spirit seeks to boldly create a new and innovative way of being and doing church. The Spirit has moved powerfully in this congregation in this regard. We seek new ways of experiencing and living out our Christianity and our spirituality in the world. Isaiah 43:19 "I am doing a new thing, now it springs forth; do you not perceive it?" has become a clarion call, speaking powerfully into and of this community.
With a strong grounding in liberation theology, the church sponsors powerful educational and explorational programs throughout the year. A sample from the last 4 years is below.
